The Hiring Manager or Recruiter (with approval from their company) sets a Match Incentive, or referral bonus, that will be paid out to anyone who contributes to finding a match. This Match Incentive is paid out only if the company hires a candidate and they remain in the role for 90 days, so trying Liftoff is completely risk free.

3. Connectors submit suggestions

People can submit suggestions through the Hiring Manager's job search link, or generate their own unique link to loop others into the search and get a 10% cut of the Incentive if their share leads to a hire.

4. Hiring Team requests intros from Connectors

The hiring team reviews suggestions, and request intros to candidates they want to meet from the connector who suggested them. Hiring Managers and Recruiters agree to not reach out directly to candidates unless they've discussed it with the connector.

5. Once a candidate is hired, the Match Incentive gets paid out to the Connectors

If the company decides to hire someone, they mark them "hired" on Liftoff. After 90 days of the candidate being in the role, the Match Incentive is paid out via Liftoff to the person who suggested and introduced the candidate, as well as anyone in that linear thread that led to that person.
